SADIS remains current with advances in satellite technology and
user expectations. Engineered around the internet protocol (IP),
SADIS 2G is designed to distribute essential WAFS and global OPMET
data to your desktop - fast.

Essential features
- SADIS 2G uses modern industry standard data formats
and protocols, including the internet protocol (IP)*
- SADIS 2G receivers are off-the-shelf units, available
from a number of suppliers
- Hardware is highly cost effective, up to 50% cheaper
than the cost of existing SADIS hardware
- Access to all of the WAFS data and global quality controlled
OPMET data
- 24 hour, 365 day support available
- Complementary access to the internet-based SADIS FTP
Service
- Available to new and existing SADIS users from September
2004.
Important Note: The SADIS 2G service is
a broadcast only service, i.e. two-way communication between
the client end system and the host does not occur. As a
result data is presented as 'spoofed' IP, or 'spoofed' X.25.

What do I need to access SADIS 2G?
SADIS 2G is available to existing users of the SADIS service,
and to new customers. It is expected that existing SADIS users
will have changed to the SADIS 2G service by 31 December 2008
at the latest.
