The day may start quite misty, especially over hillsides bordering Strathmore, but otherwise it should be a bright day with sunshine at times. A scattering of showers could also occur, however.

Good but moderate locally poor in fog or showers.

Locally 300m or less in morning mist or fog especially towards the east coast, otherwise 900m or above.

Southeasterly at 15 to 25 mph, 15 degc

Weather
Early mist or fog, mainly affecting eastern hillsides will soon lift. Otherwise it should be a bright day with sunshine at times although a scattering of showers can also be expected.
Visibility/cloud base
Good visibility generally but locally moderate or poor in fog or showers. / Cloud base 900m or above but locally 300m or less in the east at first.
Wind/temperature/freezing level
Southeasterly at 10 to 20 mph / Plus 14 degc / Above the summits

Outlook for Monday

Mondays weather will be similar to the weekends with low cloud in the east lifting but with showery outbreaks of rain developing. Southeasterly winds will be up to 25 mph.

Outlook for Tuesday

Tuesday again will start rather misty especially in the east but it will soon brighten up. Sunny spells are likely for the rest of the day with just one or two isolated showers inland. Southeasterly winds will be up to 25mph.

Outlook for Wednesday

Starting misty again but soon brightening up although showery outbreaks of rain are also likely. Moderate southerly winds.
